Question:

Toddler no longer sleeps through the night?

About 4 months ago we went to the grandparents house and since there is no safe way to put him in a bed so he slept with me for 2 weeks. I know it is not ideal, but I was also seven months pregnant at the time and very tired. Ever since he wakes up every night and tries to come into our room. We have consistently picked him up and put him back in his bed. However, every night it is the same thing. How can we get him to sleep through the night on his own again? Thanks in advance.

  1. you just have to keep doing that, and perhaps telling him that it was something we did at grandmas.

  2. You just have to keep putting him back in his own bed until he realizes he isn't going to get to sleep in your's.

  3. Just keep trying to be consistent. I know it's hard with a new baby, but eventually he will get it. Try telling him before bed that you know he likes to come in your room, but you need to get sleep, so he has to stay in bed. Good luck, and congrats on the new baby.
