I know this sounds like an odd topic, but I have a concern about my 2 1/2 year old. I know everyone is different, but I'm a little concerned about how many times a day she has a bowel movement. It seems like she goes 3 or 4 or 5 times a day. the conistancy is odd, in the morning it is hard pebbles, and throughout the day it is pasty or sometimes even loose. She doesn't seem to ever be in pain, or uncomfortable though...I was just wondering if this sounded odd to anyone else? (besides that it's gross)

  1. When my son was that age his bowel movements were very similar.  He pooped like 4-5 times daily, all different.  As soon as he got potty trained it stopped.  He only goes once or twice now.  I think they start to have more control of their bm's and push every time they feel like there is something there.  I think she may be ready to start training!!!

Hope this helped.  I saw your other question asking why no one answered this one and looked it up.
