My toddler eats lots of fruit like bananas, blueberries, grapes, cherries, and strawberries, but she wont eat vegetables. Does fruit still meet her nutritional needs?

  1. Probably not.  Why don't you try giving her Fruitables, a drink made by Apple and Eve.  It's a combination of fruit and vegetables.

Does she not eat vegetables b/c she doesn't like the taste, or she just refuses to eat any?  If you give her baby food, she won't be able to tell if it is a fruit or vegetable.

Reward her for eating vegetables ("I'll let you watch Spongebob if you eat these peas."

Or, show her these videos on YouTube:

I haven't previewed all of these videos but they might get your daughter to eat vegetables.  They're really cute and feature vegetables as talking, loveable characters.  Hope I helped!!

    Good luck!! : )

  2. She still needs vegetables.  Don't offer fruit until she has had her veggies.

  3. No, fruit doesn't meet all of her nutritional needs.  Vegetables are rich in vitamin A, iron, calcium, and a slew of B vitamins.  Fruits are mainly rich in vitamin C and vitamin A.  Vegetables are a necessary part of a balanced diet.  If she's struggling eating vegetables consider ways to sneak them into her food temporarily or a vitamin supplement.

  4. explain to him first that only fruit have seeds then a few days later tell him that hes a good boy for eating fruit and show him that tomato is also a fruit therefore he will have at least some veg :)

  5. Try hiding them in food, such as meat loaf or spaghetti.

  6. I took my son to a nutritionist about this issue and she said YES it is ok but keep offereing vegetables.

i started buying carrots, i steam and cut them and give them to my son before everything. it is like steamed carrots with a bit of salt for lunch.

sometimes i add spaguetti sauce to his carrots.

i know he won't ear peas and corn no matter what.

i think being picky is genetic because i never like vegetables but i'll eat them now raw or slightly cooked.

    good luck!

  7. have you tried V 8 juice..my youngest absolutely hates vegetables but we gave him  V 8 juice and he loves it..His nutritionist says its fine
