theres a water park close to my home and I was thinking of taking my 1year old. Will she be able to sit with me on rafts or anything? She will be free to get in, I just don't know if we can do anything with her...She is 20 lbs and about 30 inches long.

If you took a young toddler, how did it go for you?

  1. Except for maybe a carousel, I'd be too afraid to risk it with one so small and fragile though I don't see why if you go with other family or friends you can't enjoy yourself on your favorite rides while you take turns watching over the baby making sure they are well protected from the sun.

  2. I would say that it's not a good Idea to take a 1 year old to a water park only because people tend to get a little wild. Instead, start off at a neighborhood pool. Let her get the feel of it first. The whole raft thing, not a good idea.

  3. They have kiddie water rides for your toddler that you will PROBABLY be able to go with her. If I were you, i would go to the park and ask the person who sells tickets about that! I think it would go swimingly (get it?) Ok i admit it, that was a bad joke.

  4. That is a hard question to answer. It depents on the baby in someways and also the parents. I worked at disney and have been to the two water parks they have. If you were going there I would say blizzard beach first with a baby or babys. I would also ask you if it is just you bringing the baby. Or you and someone else. If it is two adults and one baby, yes I would go. Because most of the water parks do have a kids or baby part to the water park. Also I would ckeck on where the first aid stations are. You can never be to safe if something were to happen. Hope I helped.

  5. the best thing is to contact the water park and ask their restrictions on weight and size for doing the different things they have there.

Most the time you can find the information online at their website, but since you didn't say which water park I wasn't able to try and look for you.

But I say call the park and you will have the accurate info.

  6. i mean u can go and hang out in the shallow end of the waters, and they have those kiddie water parks. i think u should shes one and it would be a cool experience, but not much water rides, just a day out

    good luck

  7. not a good idea...

  8. They usually have a little park inside for kids and she can ride with you on the 'lazy river'. But other than that they have height requirements
