Toe Touch Help!?

I've been cheering for 4years, and i'm pretty flexible, but my toe touch isn't so great. My coach tells me i'd have great jumps if i rotated my hips but i'm not sure how to. Any tips for rotating hips!

Thanks So Much!

  1. keep your body up and bring your legs up to you.

hip flexor stretches help that alot.

a lot of it isnt your jump its mostly how high your legs wanna pull up.

you can look online for hip flexor stretches.

stretch a lot...like splits and try straddle sits and reaching all the way down..when you bring it up make sure you sit in your jump.bring your legs up high keep it tight and keep your back straight chest up...

basically do a straddle in the air..

    hope i helped =]

  2. thrust ur hips/upper thighs forwards like ur "sitting in" ur jump.

  3. do leaps to train your legs to go up higher and for you to get stronger. my dance teacher told me that when i had that problem. its that our hips aren't trained to rotate in that movement. that's y why the leaps come in use. stretch for your straddle/splits and do lots of leaps. good luck!
