Toffees and Tangerines to lock heads at Goodison Park
Ian Holloway’s Blackpool will take on David Moyes’ Everton on the 5 February at the Goodison Park. Blackpool are currently placed 13 on the table with 28 points with Everton just a point
behind. Both teams will be looking to bounce back from recent losses, with Blackpool losing to West Ham United at home and Everton suffering defeat at the hands of Arsenal in their match in the Emirates.

Everton, has so far managed to win just five games this season, three of which were at home. They however have also lost three games at home while five matches ended in draws.

One thing that goes to the tangerine advantage is the fact that they have managed eight victories so far this season, five of which have come away from home. They have lost six away games and managed two away draws.

Everton, in their last five games have managed just one victory that came away from home in the FA Cup against Scunthorpe united on 8 January. Three games have been draws, while one ended in a loss.
Blackpool, too have just managed to win a single game while the rest have been losses, but to their credit, the seasiders put up quite a fight against Manchester United who eventually came out on top after going 2-0 down inside the first half.
Considering the recent form of both teams, the clash looks to end on a square note which won’t be something that both managers could wish for.
If Everton slip at the hands of tangerines, they might fall into the relegation zone depending on the results of other matches. The Toffees are currently just three points clear of the danger zone.
