Tofu Recipes Anyone?

Anyone who is vegetarian, vegan, or simply likes tofu and has any recipe ideas?

teriyake tofu:

Marinade:

1/2 cup soy sauce

2 T sake

2T rice vinegar

1T crushed ginger

1T crushed garlic

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp sesame oil

3 T sugar or Agave nectar

Combine all ingredients. Cut tofu into small pieces and pour marinade over it, cover and refrigerate for 20 mins. Heat skillet on medium hi and pour tofu with a T of marinade and cook for about 10 mins. Eat this with rice and vegetables or my favorite sweet potatoe mash.

This is a simple recipe, most of it's jarred, so it's handy, but delicious!

250g tofu

Spice mix [the ones that come in packets]

I jar of Discovery Mexican Fajita Sauce

Flour wraps

Guacamole

Cut the tofu up, cover in spice mix, and fry with a little oil. Fry to your liking and add the sauce the the frying pan and leave it for a little while. Prepare the wraps and spread one/two tablespoons of guacamole on the wraps. Add the tofu and sauce and enjoy! Voila! It's lovely, and vegan! :)

Get the noodles for spaghetti. They come in a package and cook them longer than on the directions. Make your own sauce and you'd never know they weren't typical pasta. It's the best!

I am a strict vegetarian and my favorite way to prepare tofu is grilling it. If you are short on time they sell in the greenwise area at the grocery pregrilled tofu which only requires microwaving.

you can put tofu in pasta with a light dressing on top..you could have chilli tofu with rice.
