Why on those toilet bowl freshners that you can hang on the side of the bowl say on the back label "Causes cancer in California"

What is that supposed to mean?

Why only in California?

    its like "not for household use in canada"

    like wtf? WHY CANADA? LOL!?

  3. labelling laws in California state that if a product contains possible carcinogenic materials it must indicate that on the label.So more convenient to make one label instead of one label for California and another for the rest of the states,and if one box of none labelled product gets shipped to California huge law suit

  4. California's laws are known to be far more stringent as far as pollutants are concerned...As to why they put that warning on, who knows?
