  1. Don't use it when it is already blocked up, something has probably fallen into the pan and got stuck in the bend, if this is the case, then it is a matter of donning the rubber glove to free it, not nice, better to flush after every use.

  2. umm nothing else you gotta get a plumber...... are any of your friends plumbers? you can get it free or really cheap

  3. plumbers the way to go!

if nothing else works.... or ask a neighbor?

maybe CALL the plumber and ask for tips

  4. i think the problem is within your piping.. you really need to have someone to check it out.. its because maybe something is blocking the passage of the water...and its hard to guess wether where it is..

  5. u keep on plungging!! The best thing i noticed depending on how bad it is , is u scoop out the extra wate rwith a conatier that u will throw out a and pour it down the sink or tub(plz disinfect with clorox after though!!) and then flush the toilet and start plungging really fast a super tough and then remove it and try that again. U might have to do this a couple times during teh day but from wat i have seen others do it worked as long as it gets a chance to sit even if it 8 hours  it may help, bcuz it could be drianing but its going soooooooo slloowwwwwwwww.

  6. Your blockage is probably past or in the U-Bend.  If you wanted to do this 100% correctly you should go and rent a snake from the supply store - basically a bendy tube that can thread through the plumbing - normally with a sort of metal s***w on the end.  One no-cost solution I used one time was to use a stiff hose pipe and thread this through instead. I even gently turned the water on to add pressure as well.  Good luck!

  7. Fill up a bucket (a big bucket preferably) with HOT HOT HOT even boiling water, pour lots of salt in that bucket, and pour the whole bucket with salt in it, in the toilet.

Keep on repeating it untill the toilet is unclogged, it might take sometime for it to unclog, but keep doing it for about 15 minutes, take a break, and repeat.

    good luck!!!

  8. Do you have a young child that may have flushed a small toy.

  9. LOL  , you gotta love yahoo answers .  People ask the funniest questions on here .

Yep , I have 3 kids that stop up the toilet almost on a weekly basis .  A teenager that eats c**p , no fiber , and two girls that don't know how much toilet paper to use .  You do have the plunge the h*ll out of it .  Keep trying to flush it , then if it doesn't flush keep plunging some more .

  10. Eat more fiber and use less T.P. on your bunghole.

  11. Sometimes it just takes a lot of plunging.  Keep plunging until you can't lpunge anymore, then call the plumber.

  12. A "snake" is the proper tool, but be sure to use one made just for toilets. It's called a "toilet auger", and only good for toilets, but it is the only type to use. Multi-purpose snakes are less effective for toilets ...AND...always leave scratches on the porcelain inside the bowl which are difficult or impossible to remove. Be VERY careful with a snake [or plunger] if you have already used a liquid such as liquid plumber, as they may splash on you or surrounding wood, towels, etc, and can be caustic. Use gloves, long sleeves, and goggles in this case.

  13. lovely. in fact.. delightful

Phone your dad (nearly always helps)

  14. Rip it out of the ground and c**p in the pipe.

  15. Get a new toilet?  Buy a better plunger? The only thing I really can think of is somehow get a plumber.  Good Luck!

EDIT: I FORGOT ABOUT THE SNAKE! Yeah Rent a snake and seriously it does work! Good Luck Again!

  16. Drink lots of water before you take a dump. Call the plumber.

  17. you have to plunge the heck outta it!  Liquid plumber is for drains, it can't reach down the pipes of the toilet.  Put some muscle into it!

  18. you need to buy a closet auger and clear the toilet

  19. our toilet gets clogged at least 1nce a week so my mum puts her hand into the bowl with gloves and dislodges it

  20. Go to your local petshop and rent a Snake. I don't think it matters what kind. That is what a plumber will use anyways. Put the snake in the toilet and it will clear out your problem. Ask any plumber and they will tell you the same.

  21. go to the hardware store and buy yourself a good toilet snake it will clear a clogged toilet 99% of the time so it's a good investment of 20 or 30 dollars don't try that boiling water trick it can crack the toilet with the sudden change of temp

  22. Is the tiolet close to your shower or sink?

Can you hear the grumbling in the sink or shower drain?

If so you might want to try pouring the liquid plumber down those drains also.  Get extra strength.

I live in a 1920's home and the plumbing is older than god.  Usually once every 2-3 months I have to pour it down to keep them unclogged.

    Hope this helps,

    Randy
