Toilet is being weird. i don't know how to fix........?

it like won't flush al the way. it starts to, but then nothing happens. i took of the back of the toilet and the cahin is all good and it opens the little thing, but the tank isn't full of water. is it supposed to b e?

Yes its suppose to be mostly full.  The way to fix this is usually the metal piece inside the tank that hooks to the float is bent to much which is allowing the water to shut off before the cabinet is full.  So just straighten that piece out or even bend it up away from the bottom of the tank.

It sounds like your toilet may be a bit stopped up. I would try using a plunger just to get things kind of "moving". The tank should be pretty full. Sometimes when something is partially clogging it, it won't flush all the way until you get the obstruction to move.

it's probably clogged you need to get that stuff to unclog it or else it can get pretty bad and end up in your front yard making it smell like sewerage, that's what happened to ours =/ and it can get pretty expensive, trust me it's not that fun having to use your backyard as a toilet in the middle of the night

Flush it with a 4 gallon bucket full of water. If the water gets away readily.. then it isn't clogged.

I dont think it is clogged. It is more likely that you have to replace the washers and seals in the cistern.

Wait for the tank to fill up then flush it. If it's not filling up then you have another problem.
