Hi all,

Yes it's come to this...a toilet paper question

:)

Typically I buy whatever namebrand toilet paper is on sale and toss it all downstairs where we keep paper products.

However I brought some upstairs the other day and my family actually commented they LIKED this toilet paper, and I did too.

But I don't know which brand it was

Is there any way to identify what kind it is?

Thanks all

  1. Many toilet papers are contained within clear plastic bags.  Take a sample with you to the store and see if any appear to match the packages.  Some have a slight pattern or variations that may make this possible.  If not, you may just have to use trial and error.  You could sleuth and eliminate some brands by making a list of the traits ... is it one-ply, two-ply, patterned, plain?  Since someone in your family has time on their hands, or should I say butt, perhaps that member could compile the list so that when you go to the store, you can (via package descriptions) eliminate some that clearly don't match!!!!  Offer a couple extra rolls to the one who can solve this dilemma.  By the way, I have a child who would love this job as he has a fascination with anything relating to the bathroom!  We actually collected TP samples for him one year on vacation ... so I understand your dilemma.

  2. u need to look at the print on the toilet paper and go find it.

take a square off of it to the store with you and try and match it up.
