My daughter is 3 and still refuses to wee on toilet or on potty. I have tried to train her before but it just doesn't work...I have 4 pairs of knickers that she has gone through in 1 hour and I keep sticking her on the potty but I ask her if she needs to wee and she says no after a wile so she gets up and knickers back on...4 Min's later she wees in her knickers and I don't yell at her I explain to her that she can't wee in her knickers she needs to wee in potty and she just keeps doing it...I'm getting frustrated cause of her not listening and I just need help to figure out how to get her to wee in potty...She is 3 and will be going to kinder when she is 4 and I want her to be ready to go because they will not take her if she still wears nappies...I do play games with her while she is on potty and read books so there is no prob with keeping her on for a bit but it's just like she hold it in and when she get up she just wants to wee but not in potty..

Any ideas from parents please, that would be a big help....

She is a girl so any parents with girls can you answer...

Thanks xx

  1. potty training is hard..so I have heard..I dont have kids but...

try holding her hand out and pouring water on it and tell her if she feels that way in her patties she needs to go to the potty.

Also maybe dont entertain her so while shes on she may be 2 excited.

  2. My 4 year old just finsihed training about 6 months ago (then 3 1/2).  It wasnt easy, but once she was ready SHE then wanted to go & use the bathroom.

There is a free dvd on potty training that I found very helpful.  I have  the site to obtain it listed on my blog.  If your interested take a look:
