Toiliet paper has streaks of red whenever i take a BIG #2

Question

The streaks of red is very very dim.. but i know for sure its blood.. i took one today, but there was no blood..

i looked at my behind, and there were no bumps on it or anything weird. Its not dark red.

So what could it be?

It does sound like roids or little tears (fissures) in the rectal area.  Wouldn't hurt to mention it to your doctor.  Depending on your age, they may suggest a colonoscopy or sigmoid flex.  Neither of which are all that bad.  I've had both.  Happy health to you....

When you have a hard #2 it causes the tissue inside to tear a little.  You could have hemorrhoids inside.

Make sure you drink 8-10 cups of water everyday.  Eat fruit and fresh vegetables.  This will keep moisture in the bowel, and keep is soft and won't hurt you when you go poo.

internal hemmorhoids old chum, suggest you drink a great deal more water than you do, to soften your stools.  Always having large hard stools will stretch things out down there, causing you considerable embarassment as you age.

Its normal.  When you take a BIG # 2, small tears are produced in your a**s.  It is completely normal rest assured.  NOW, if after you go and you actually see a significant amount of blood in the f***s, then there is a problem and you should consult a physician.

Probably piles, or hemorrhoids. Get the doctor to check it out if you are worried, never mind the embarrassment.
