Tokio Hotel, the German version of the Beatles?

What do you think of that statement? If you ask me I think it fits them well.

They aren't the biggest band in America yet, but they are overseas. They started in 2005, and since then have had numerous #1 hit singles, chart topping records that go double platinum, and even now the hype overseas hasn't died down much. The fanbase is getting bigger, and several people overseas, or in Europe, absolutely love them including me! Their lyrics are about real things, and good lyrics. They have good melodies. The Beatles came from England, not far from where these boys are. So if they haven't hit that point yet, I believe that they will.

  7. Never really had a listen yet. Now I am, they seem pretty good, better than these Disney Channel idiots everyone's into.

  8. Nope. Sorry not going to happen, nobody could or will ever be The Beatles except for The Beatles themselves.  And it took The Beatles a really really long time to get where they were at music wise.

  9. Actually, I agree with you a bit...over here in the states, they are more 'cult' really than mega pop sensation, but a lot of Europeans seem to be crazy for them... they are spectacular, but the German accents are a bit too thick...I think they would gain status if they did a few songs in American English.

  10. Tokio Hotel, the German version of the Beatles

    The joke of the day

  11. They are not a bad band, but nothing special and no chance of becoming even close to where the Beatles were, sorry, but you will realise this in time.
