Told my girlfriend I was moving, then ran into her and pretended to be my twin brother. What now?

I am bad at breaking up, so I told my girlfriend I was moving to New York. I live a couple cities away, but I ended up running into her a couple weeks later and had to pretend to be my own twin brother. Now she is trying to start a relationship with me (as my twin brother) and will not stop calling. What do I do now!?

Tell her the truth.

Because if you don't, A) you might have to be in two places at once B) she'll find out and get seriously hurt  C) word spreads fast, prepare for gossip, and your chances of getting another girlfriend will go down.

You should of never lied to her in the first place. But you did so I would either tell her that you are not interested in a relationship with her or tell her the truth. I bet that she already knows that you are not your twin brother and is having some fun with you.

If you were gonna tell a lie at least you should of moved away from where you,live, like New york!!

Clearly, telling the truth in person is not your strong suit. If you can't do it in person or by phone, consider another form. Write a letter, send it, and change your phone number. Tell her not to contact you . . . it's maybe just a bit cowardly, but at least she'll know the truth. Alternatively, your "twin brother" could turn out to be in love with another person.
