  1. No, that just means you are not stressing!

  2. The doctor should tell you for sure.

In general, low blood pressure is not considered a health risk in the same way that high blood pressure is.  However, during pregnancy especially, fainting and falling due to low blood pressure can be of serious concern.

Pregnancy causes blood to pool in your legs, making less blood available to the brain.  Thus, when you rise from a laying or sitting position you may feel dizzy or faint.  This can also cause vision problems in a pregnant woman.

There are some things you can do to prevent low blood pressure:

    -  Drink plenty of fluids, especially water

    -  Lay on your side, rather than on your back.  This may also help with back and sciatic nerve pain.

    -  If you feel faint, sit down.  Put your head lower than your body until you no longer feel faint.

    -  When getting up from the sitting position, take it slowly.

    -  Regular exercise helps keep blood pressure normal.  Keep up with your physician-approved exercise regimen.

  3. I certainly hope so.

  4. it's better for it to be low than high, which will affect the pregnancy.

mine was low during my pregnancy too, and everything was fine. just eat well, rest and you will be OK. if you start to have other symptoms like light headiness or faint, call your Dr.

  5. No, if your blood pressure is high that's when you need to worry. Mine was normal throughout my pregnancy up until last week, but thats normal it usually gets higher towards the end.

  6. Ok lets look at this way IF it was HIGH then you would be  not good! I was HIGH, so I was 182/92 so just chill and enjoy being pregnant. I miscarried so... and trying again. Good luck to YA!

  7. How low was it?  It is normal to have lower blood pressure during pregnancy due to increased blood volume.  It's much more dangerous for your bp to be elevated.

  8. Did a doctor tell you this?..If so...what did they say about it?
