Tomáš Hubocan hoping for Zenit St. Petersburg to win against Krylia Sovetov Samara
Zenit St. Petersburg defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tomáš-Hubocan-c35262, has summed up the Bomzhi performance in their recent Russian Premier League encounters and revealed that Zenit must perform well against Krylia Sovetov Samara following their laggard display against FC Amkar
Perm.
The Meshki played their previous league tie against the Navozniki and the match ended in a draw. Hubocan has bemoaned the loss against Amkar, expressing that the Bomzhi were unable to score the second goal that would have sealed a win.
Hubocan highlighted that Zenit cannot afford any more slip ups if they are to reduce the points difference with the current league leaders, CSKA Moscow. The Slovakian defender believes that the Meshki are still the dominant force in the league and most likely
to lift the Russian Premier League trophy this season.
“Unfortunately, we lost two points, but the main reason for the loss of points was exactly the weak implementation of the chances for scoring. We are very much prepared to win in Samara. We are looking forward to catch up with CSKA Moscow in order to take
advantage of the table.” The Russian Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Hubocan insisted that Zenit’s upcoming match is going to be very difficult and they need to play carefully against a team that is at the bottom of the table. Samara are rock bottom with three wins, seven draws and ten defeats.
“It is very difficult to play against a team that sit deep in defence by keeping ten players in their half of the field for the entire ninety minutes. I think "Wings of the Soviets" will try to beat us with the same weapon but we will play to win.” The Slovakian
defender concluded.
The former MŠK Zilina stopper revealed that the Russian Premier League is very competitive and every team in this league has the potential to outplay their opponent. The defender urged his teammates to claim the much needed three points against the Krysy.
