Question:

Tom's of Maine is owned by Colgate-Palmolive (since 2006).?

However, the packaging for their products still reads "Copyright 2005, Tom's of Maine" (no reference to Colgate at all...).

When will this be updated, and why hasn't it been yet? Is it just a backlog of pre-merger toothpaste tubes??

  1. Maybe Colgate realizes that it's in their best interest to keep their name off the product. I'm not sure of how that would work, legally. But, in my opinion, the consumers who would purchase Tom's of Maine products would not want their money going to Colgate.


  2. I hate their deodorant!  What traders to go off with Colgate! Nothing is sacred any more.  Maybe Tom died.

  3. whoa that is so weird because I just read about that today.

    I hope they don't start testing on animals and put c**p in it now.
