Tom Brady for fantasy football?

Will Brady be a good fantasy choice this year? I know he did excellent last year but the Pats are not exactly the same team. And also losing a super bowl can hurt a QBs confidence. Please explain why he is/isn't a good first round pick this year

  1. I think he's a good first round pick.  His offense hasn't changed much.  He lost Stallworth, but Welker and Moss (his two big receivers) are still there.  His tight end's pretty good and he got another good running back in Lamont Jordan.  This will spread the defense because they will have to guard both the run and the pass.

    BK

  2. Actually on offense they are almost the same team. Donte Stallworth is gone, but Jabar Gaffney had pretty much taken his spot by the playoffs last year anyway. They have the same tight end and even more depth at running back with Sammy Morris back from his injury and Lamont Jordan from the Raiders.

Brady won't throw 50 touchdowns again but he will be a very productive fantasy quarterback again.

    Good luck.

  3. I'd pick him number 1.

  4. H would be good to pick late first round or early 2nd round. There is probably no way he will put up the same numbers as last year. He'll probably be the best QB this year too but not by a lot.

  5. he has the same set of receivers coming back from last year with the exception of Donte Stallworth.  He is not the type of player that lets a previous season effect the new season.  I am sure the Super Bowl loss is well behind him.  Everything coming out of camp is that he is throwing well and working well with the receiving corp.  I would look for him to have another solid year.  But, like anything, an injury throws it all out the window.  All in all a safe bet for fantasy this season.
