TomTom ONE GPS?

Question

Im planing to buy TomTom ONE gps navigation.

Which one should i get?

- TomTom ONE

- Tom Tom ONE XL

- TomTom ONE 3RD EDITION

They all seem to me doing the same job but only difference is $$ is that true?

I am looking myself to get one very soon.A good friend told me the more expensive ones are not worth the extra money.They will give you more details like instead of saying turn left at next light it will say turn left at next light on to 7th street.

If you don't have your mind set one Tom Tom, consider the Garmin Nuvi.  I compared the two and the Garmin was more accurate.  I have the 350, which has text to speech and announces street names, rather than just saying "turn left ahead".  If you're in an area with lots of side streets, like a city, having that little bit extra information can mean all the difference.

What's important is the software doing the calculations for directions and my online research backed up my comparison.  Most reviewers found the Garmin to give better directions in most cases.

Extra money buys extra features.  You need to decide which features you want or don't want.  I went with the basic Garmin, because Bluetooth and MP3 capability weren't important to me.  It cost me $350 USD, which is a lot less than you can buy it in a store.
