Tomas Berdych banged Andrey Golubev to enter into ATP Washington quarter finals
Tomas Berdych is in full swing these days and enjoying his match winning form to the fullest. This young and dynamic 24 year old tennis veteran is full of energy and stopping nowhere. After the Wimbledon, Tomas Berdych is proving his strong entity in the current tournament of ATP Washington Classic being held in Washington D.C.
In the recent match this tennis ace from Czech Republic, clutched a convincing victory over Andrey Golubev and proved his class bluntly. Berdych thrashed the player from Kazakhstan by 6-3, 5-7, 7-5. On the other hand the Spaniard tennis sensation Fernando Verdasco also showed his class and strong will to get into the next level. This tournament has also been very special for the Belgian tennis player, Xavier Malisse, who has shown his strong commitment and hard work over the hard court to make his position into the next round. Xavier is ranked 62nd on the ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) ranking and is well ready to play at any stage and at any level.

Melisse has already thrashed the young American tennis ace John Isner which is no doubt a very vivid proof of Melisse’s strong hold over his racquet. The match between Berdych and Melisse is being speculated to be one of the best matches in the tournament as both the players are performing at their best. While talking about Berdych in an interview Malisse expressed his thoughts about the upcoming match and said that he is very confident with the way he is playing. He added that he is feeling no pressure at all as Berdych is the top seed for the competition so the pressure is on Berdych.
In another match of the tournament Verdasco achieved a splendid victory over the American player Ryan Sweeting by 6-4, 7-5. After the match Verdasco seemed happy about his performance and said that it was a very good match for him as according to him he played a better game than before. He added that the most important thing to him is to maintain and improve his current form. He said he is confident and is feeling much better after winning the match.
Argentinean ace David Nalbandian is ready to play his match against the top American tennis star Andy Roddick in the quarter final.
