Tomasz Adamek claims he is going to kill Vitali Klitschko with his speed – Boxing news
Former World Boxing Council’s world light heavyweight champion, Tomasz Adamek, has claimed he is going to defeat the current World Boxing Council’s world heavyweight champion, Vitali Klitschko, in their
heavyweight championship fight for the WBC title.
The Granite Chin Adamek, who will take on Dr. Ironfist Klitschko tonight, September 10, at the Stadion Miejski in Wroclaw, Poland, reckons his speed and power is far superior to the 6 ft 8 in Ukrainian
giant. Therefore the Polish pugilist, who has won 44 of his 45 professional fights, with 28 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, believes he will beat Klitschko in the ring.
While speaking to reportes, he said, "I'm quicker than Vitali and I am going to kill him with my speed. Speed is power and it is going to be everything in this fight." He went on to say, "I am not afraid
to go in the ring to fight such a big guy."
The 34-year-old Adamek, who is also a former International Boxing Federation, International Boxing Organisation and The Ring magazine cruiserweight champion, also commented on the Hayemaker, David Haye.
Former WBA champion, Haye, who fought with Vitali’s younger brother Wladimir Klitschko on July 2, 2011 in a much anticipated unification bout for the heavyweight titles at Hamburg’s Football Stadium in
Germany, declared a lot ahead of his bout but on the fight night he was unable to deliver anything due to which Wladimir won him via unanimous point’s decision.
Adamek stated if someone likes to talk a lot he should also be able to deliver it.
"My opinion is if someone speaks too much you have to go to the ring and give a good show. But he (Haye) spoke too much, then he came to the ring and did not give a good show or try to win,” Adamek remarked.
Vitali Klitschko holds a record of winning 42 of his 44 professional fights including which 39 of his wins have come by the way of a knockout. However let’s see if Adamek can really see off Klitschko tonight,
as it would be certainly be a great win for him.
