Tomasz Adamek scheduled to take on Vitali Klitschko in September 2011 – Boxing news
The championship bout between the polish national, Tomasz Adamek and Ukraine’s national, Vitali Klitschko has been decided to take place on September 9, 2011 at the Municipal Stadium, Wroclaw, Poland.
The two champions will be face to face into the ring for the World Boxing Council (WBC) Heavyweight title. However, whoever wins this bout while taking the power and size into the view is a big question. More than 44,000 boxing fans are expected to watch
the bout.
Heavyweight contender, Tomasz Adamek has fought 45 of his total fights of which he won 44 bouts including 28 wins by scoring technical knockout with one loss of bout in his professional career.
However, some boxing observers and critics are of the view that he has not been found to be impressive since he moved up in weight to the heavyweight division.
Although Highlander performed very well at the light heavyweight division, but was not enough to be termed the best performer. Chad Dawson has proved it true in his fight against Adamek in 2007 by winning 12 rounds decision over him.

Cruiserweight division turned to be very positive for him as Adamek went up in weight. The 34-year-old experienced Adamek, won the International Boxing Federation (IBF) title by successfully defeating Steve Cunningham, Johnathon Banks and O’Neil Bell in
2009.
Although the polish pride, Adamek has won many of his competitive bouts but still it does not look like that he can beat the WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko in their combat in Poland.
The two fighters do not qualify each other perfectly because of their size and power differences. Vitali has the height and weight advantage over Adamek.
Definitely, that would be the toughest test of a good cruiserweight champion to conquer the best heavyweight. The lack of competitiveness can lead to an unfair selection and ugly mismatch.
The former WBC world light heavyweight champion, Adamek is habitually very passionate to run around the ring to dominate the opposition but this time he will not be spared by Vitali for sure.
However, nothing is impossible in the boxing world and anything can happen at any time. If Adamek wins this bout that would be his biggest achievement in his career to date.
