Tomato plants are turning yellow...

HI all,

I'm experimenting with growing tomato plants upside down from a bucket (I live in an apartment building, so there is no where to plant them in the ground!) and so far, it was worked well. I have two blossoms and they are growing tomatoes. Here is the problem, two out of the 4 plants are starting to turn yellow in some places. I was wondering if this was due to over watering, not watering enough or is there just not enough room in the bucket? It's a 5 gallon bucket and there are 4 plants. Thanks for your help in advance!

4 Plants to 5 gal is a bit crowded but doable.  My belief is that most likely you are seeing a bit of nitrogen deficiency.  Try fertilizing with something like a bit of miracle grow or some organic fertilizer if that is important to you.  In most instances yellow leaves are either the result of to little nitrogen or way to much burning their roots.  Since your plants did well at first and are just beginning to turn the most likely issue is a deficiency.
