  1. Some yellowing of the leaves is normal and not dangerous to the plant, but it won't hurt to pull them off either.

Tomatoes require consistent watering and I also have done well by feeding them a water soluble plant food every 10-14 days. I use Miracle Grow.

  2. Sounds like a smoker has handled the plant so you may have mosaic virus, or you have it where it is getting southwest/west sun that is cooking it.  Snip off those leaves.  Any time a flower opens, shake the plant to "set' the tomato.  Water on a regular basis to prevent blossom end-rot. And water with a quart of warm water containing a teaspoon of house-hold ammonia once every two weeks.

  3. you can pull off the yellowing leaves. tomatoes tend to yellow towards the end of the season anyway. Without seeing the leaves its hard to diagnose whats going on, but you may also have a fungus that is causing the brown spots. I would bring a leaf into your local nursery and see if they can help you out. Just make if they give you a fungicide that it is safe to use on vegetables.

  4. No leave the yellow leaves alone

You can pick off any bugs that might be on the plant

I don;t use pesticides on my plants, so they always get something.   You may have a few less tomatoes because of this.  The key to that is to plant a few more plants.  You can't rush a tomato blossom.   The warmer the nights are and the sunny days will speed things along.

  5. It's not necessary to pull off the yellow leaves, but you can--it might help the plants redirect its energy toward growing the tomatoes.  You can't change how fast they ripen, but there is a great product for making them VERY healthy--get some Miracle Gro for Tomatoes (make sure it's specifically for tomatoes), mix it up according to the box, and pour a cup on each plant.  When I planted mine, I poured a cup into each hole before I planted the plant, and I now have waist-high dark green plants with dozens of green tomatoes and blossoms on each plant.  I'm in serious trouble--my husband had convinced me to plant 96 plants!

  6. yes take off any leaves that are yellow and throw away do not compost them as they could have a disease, make sure you feed the plants as this could be a reason why the leaves are turning yellow. you shouldn't really need to make the buds ripen faster but a little spray with water at night might help due to the added  humidity.
