Okay so You see in the Tomb Raider games...

What Lara Croft does, like exploring Ruins and finding ancient things.

Can you do that at free will or do you have to become an archaeologist or something?

I'd love to do what she does.

  1. You'd pretty much have to become an archaeologist. Most ruins today are already being excavated and studied by scientists, none of which go running around finding devices and levers and activating old mechanisms. And in all honesty, if those things were that old, how would they still work? Metal would be rusted, wood would be rotted...it just doesn't sound logical. As much of a dream come true it would be, it just doesn't happen that way.

If you can't do the real thing, at least you can visit exotic places. The best ruins I ever visited, where Lara is going in her next game, was the Mayan Pyramids of El Tajin in Veracruz, Mexico. Beautiful place and very interesting stuff went on there. I love history!
