Tomb raider 2 pc help!!!?

Question

when i complete the first level and about to go on to level 2 it comes up

E:\data\BOAT.TR2 you will need a later version

my computer is updated and i don't know why this is happening help

i have windows 2000

right click on your shortcut icon for it and go to properties. there should be a tab marked compatibility. enter this tab then select, run in compatability mode for... then select your system version,  in this case windows 200. i hope this helps, this is only theory as i have vista and it works fine on here
