how long will it take my eye to get normal again...my eyes are dark brown..

Getting your eyes dilated won't take long, but getting a check up will take some time. How long your eyes stay dilated depends on you, but it's usually 3-4 hours.

Generally speaking, dialation lasts 4-6 hours, unless you're the sensitive type and some will last up to 24 hours, but most go back to normal in 4-5 hours.  The first hour and a half is kinda rough, and your near vision will be very blurry. If you are uncomfortable driving dialated, have someone take you.
