Tommaso D’Orsogna clinches Men’s 100m freestyle gold – FINA/Arena Swimming World Cup
Tommaso D’Orsogna of Australia clinched gold medal of the Men’s 100m freestyle on foremost day of the 2012 FINA/ARENA Swimming World Cup in Stockholm, Sweden on Saturday, October 13.

Dunford was traced by Fernando Santos of Brazil, who stayed 0.02 seconds slower from upsetting his former finisher. Santos was just a touch apart and emerged on the wall as seventh best finisher by submitting a time of 48.21 seconds.
Last spot of the race was obtained by Ricardo Oliveira of Brazil, who stayed 0.19 seconds away and surfaced on the wall as eighth position holder with a timing of 48.40 seconds.
In addition, D’Orsogna was pleased with his astonishing form in the 100m discipline and stressed that he will continue his hard work in future in order to please his fans by achieving the same at upcoming events.
