  1. Assuming it is a new mini van, I would say you could do better...Nissan was offering one third off their Quest  mini van at a dealership in MD. I would choose a Nissan over a Dadge...no offense....plus the Dodge does not hold its value over time....go check out a Nissan. That is my 2 cents. I am in the car hunting/buying process....there are deals out there. Good luck.

  2. check out kelly blue book and see what the price is on there. i'd double check carfax.com too...

  3. ya i checked edmunds and that is a really good deal MSRP is about 21,500 used and 24,500 new

  4. Why would a 2008 have new tires and battery?

  5. 40000 miles is a lot of miles on a thing so new...

  6. used are new, it hasnt had time for the battery and tires to wear out seems like a good price but check the blue book value good luck

  7. How many miles on this vehicle? The price seems Okay, but you can always try to get it cheaper. Tell them you have 2 more vehicles you want to look at, if they can't give you a better price. Let them wait a day or two before making a decision.

  8. Still, 2007? Tires have warranties ranging from 40-80k miles and my tires last a good 80-90k before I get worried and change them. You better ask the seller why they changed so soon. Only reason I might put up with is if it was for looks.

But the battery? Should have no reason to change that until about five to ten years!

Trust me, ONLY IF THIS IS FROM A PRIVATE SELLER: spend the extra $100, bring it into a shop and have it inspected. It takes about 3 hours; but consider this: What's longer? 3 hours? Or finding out the car is a lemon and spending several months geting a court hearing -- only to have about a 50% chance of winning because you lost creditability by not geting car checked in first place.

Otherwise, if from a dealer, no worries. Just make sure they don't mess with you and take out the warranty clause in the contract. This is the problem with private sales -- no contract so seller can always claim "sale was sold as-is and carried no warranty".
