It's not high school where I live...8th and 9th grade is junior high because there are too many kids in the district. So we have elementary, middle, junior high, and high school.

Haha sorry, just wanted to make that clear :)

Anyway, I just moved back here after a few years and don't know anyone anymore.

How should I make friends and make a good impression?

Just tell me anything you think will be useful.

Thanks! :)

  1. The best thing is to be yourself.

  2. well just be ur self  try to make conversations with people that seem nice

  3. No matter what stay confident. I remember being that age, and I wish that people would have told me that I could've been as popular as anyone, or as liked as anyone if I would have liked myself. Join in activities and be outgoing.

  4. I remember my 9th grade class being put in the junior high due to enrollment being too much in the high school. I think because your class is the highest rung in the building it makes you top dog this year. Next year you are in the lowest rung in the ladder. So enjoy your year by being open and friendly with most of the people you meet for the first time. Try and excel in any undertaking and interest you like and let the other things take care of themselves. I dislike cliques but they happen due to peer pressure. Decide who you want to hang out with but don't let anyone influence your outreaching among the masses. Smile, work hard, and be sincere with your fellow students. This is the first year of four that matter, with who you are and what eventually want to be......

(Your main interest in broadway plays interested me as I worked in plays in high school and college.)

  5. be yourself, start talking to people your age and make friends easy!
