“Tomorrow is the day I need to go for it,” says St. Louis Cardinals’ right fielder Carlos Beltran

St. Louis Cardinals’ right fielder Carlos Beltran missed Game 4 against the San Francisco Giants with a left knee strain but according to several reports. He could make a potential return to the line-up in Game 5 of National League Championship Series.
After the Game 4 win, the Cardinals' veteran Beltran commented in the media and said, "Right now, the plan is to come in tomorrow and do what I have to do in order to be in the lineup, Today was a better day for me, better than yesterday. Tomorrow is the day I need to go for it."
Game 4 however, was won by the Cardinals as they outclassed the Giants 8-3 in NLCS as starter Adam Wainwright pitched seven innings and received four hits and one run which proved too good for the Giants’ upfront batters.
“It was a big motivator, I know that I'm good enough to pitch in the postseason, to carry this team deep into the game, give them a quality game, a quality outing. Last time I didn't do it, but I knew tonight if I just believed in myself and executed pitches I would be in good shape,” said Wainwright.
Beltran who is currently batting at .375 in the post-season with three homers and six RBIs also showed very consistent performances all season long this year.
He is considered one of those players in the Cardinals, who have never let down his team and always performed with big energy.
His overall current season’s performance is quite consistent with .269 hitting average along with 32 homers, 97 RBIs and .346 OBP.
Beltran has been around in the Major League for past almost 13-years and still his consistency level is giving him more confidence to play further towards excellence.
His career .282 hitting average along with 334 home-runs, 1243 RBIs and .360 OBP also makes him a him a good player in the  league as well in the Cardinals’ franchise.
Beltran started his career in 1998 with the Kansas City Royals while he later went to Houston Astros, New York Mets, San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals.
