Tonduff Kuyt to take down the line-up of the Grade A1 400 metres at Romford
The two-year-old Tonduff Kuyt turns out to be the most promising prospect for the Grade A1 400 metres flat at Romford on Wednesday, 23rd May. Competing alongside him are Lone Gospel, Beat Them Bud, Rebellious Mary, Dooneen Bridge and Dreams Cometrue.
The prize money set for the race is £135.
Born on 12th January in 2010, Crash’s white and fawn son out of b***h, Tonduff Abbie, has done nothing much besides winning the two races that came his way after the training session.
He has raced just twice during the debut season and has won through both the outings.
He took 24.74 seconds to complete the 400 metres training trip on 1st May at Romford. As effective as any other drill, the lightly raced did not let go off the two chances he was exposed to.
He bagged his seasonal debut on 8th May at Romford over 400 metres. Tonduff Kuyt reached the other end of the wire in 24.45 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Ballyoak Lord, by nine and a half lengths.
He then captured the very next race that presented itself on 15th May at Romford over 400 metres. This time it took the two-year-old 24.95 seconds to time the track distance.
He took charge of the final 2 ¾ lengths and made Trail Finder finish the closest.
He is on for the third career outing and has the highest of the chances to strike a seasonal hat trick. He has raced only twice after the drilling and has already displayed enough potential to be reliable.
Rebellious Mary, Premier Fantasy’s three-year-old black daughter out of b***h, Minnies Alainn, has shown considerable level of consistency lately.
She scored second in a Grade A2 400 metres flat at Romford on 9th May by completing the trip in 24.51 seconds. She finished the race closest to the winner, Millwards Daisy. She had timed the race in 24.07 seconds.
Her most recent race and success was in a Grade A2 400 metres flat at Romford on 16th May after the 6/4 favourite settled the race in 24.74 seconds. She led the track by Wellstone Two.
If she will be able to escape Tonduff Kuyt or not will get out in the open soon.
