Toner exhausted

Question

hi,my cartridge after refilling showed above message,then i send it back to the person who did it and he orderd a new cartridge but the same problem exists yet. i can take printer self test but it shows TONER EXHAUSTED message when i want to print through computer and also on the self test printed page.i want to know if reseting the printer solve the problem.if so please tell me how can i do that. i'm looking forward to get your reply.thank you.
