how much does it cost ad do you need a parent to be present with you if your under 18? how long does it stay swollen for? im thinking about doing it but i dont want parents to find out any tips?

  1. If you are under the age of 18, yes, you need legal consent. I would say wait til your 18 then go for it. Go ahead and look up information about a tongue piercing on line, just so your ahead of the game.


  2. parents consent depends on the place, and where you live. here in canada you only have to be 16 the rest i dont know i just got mine done like 3 days ago.

  3. Well I got mine done for $25 and everything was clean & sterile. The place I went to you don't need parents consent.

    It stays swollen for at least a week or 2 but at least 4-8 weeks to heal. If you don't want your parents to find out just don't take with your mouth wide open and be careful when you laugh.

    When you get it pierced talking might be weird cause you'll be slurring a bit, so I suggest you try to limit your speech as much as you can so it won't be noticeable.  Also it won't tire your tongue out when your talking.
