Tongue piercing question.?

ive had my tongue pierced for about 2 and 1/2 months.. if i take it off how long can i keep it off without it closing? because i want to see my girlfriend today and i want to take it off so her parents dont see it. then put it on later when we're alone.

I was able to leave mine out for several hours (about 4-5) after it had healed (after 2 months) before it would start getting tight.

Every person's body is different though so it really depends on how you are as an individual. If you've never taken it out, you'll probably be fine to take it out for a little while by now.

if you don't want to chance it, go buy jewelry with clear balls and wear that. it won't be able to be seen by anyone and you won't have to take it out.
