Tongue piercing questions...?

ive had my tongue peirced for four days now and the swelling has gone down but where the ball is there is a hard lump that feels like a hard swell. my piercer said that it is completely normal and that its just taking my peircing longer than three days (the average) to heal. i want to know if anyone has experenced this themselves. please help!!!

yeah that hard ball is normal. my moms 2 friends both had their tounge peirced & they had that.

i really want my tounge peirced but im terrified of needles & pain. i got my nose peirced, which wasnt so bad,

how bad did the tounge peircing hurt??

That is normal, its just a ball of swelling flesh getting used to the piercing. It will decrease overtime if you take good care of your piercing.

Three days to heal? HA!

I've had my tongue peirced since I was 14 and I know lots of others that have had it done and I've never heard of it being healed in 3 days.

Don't stress, it sounds normal.

CassandraxCatastrophe: Mine didn't hurt much at all. I could feel the needle going through but it wasn't pain, as such. Hurt less than a belly ring and even less than cartilage on my ear.

yea it should go away n a couple of days trust me i thought i was gonna die but my sister said its normal

that sounds kinda like the ball when you get your ear pierced, sounds normal to me.

that is normal...ive had my tongue pierced twice and it happend both times...dont worry because it will eventually go away...well it did for me both times so i dont think its anything to worry about.
