The Bayern Munich attacking midfielder reckons that Manuel Neuer should not be blamed for his team’s defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Toni-Kroos-c35425 believes that goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer, should not be held responsible alone for Bayern’s defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday. Both teams locked horns in the season’s second-half opener on January 20 at the
Borussia-Park with the Foals emerging as comfortable 3-1 winners.

scored the other two goals for Lucien Favre’s men.
Kroos stated that Neuer’s mistake wasn’t big enough, and that it can happen to any goalkeeper. He added that the former Schalke star has been sensational since his arrival at the Allianz-Arena and is strong enough to put aside
his uncharacteristic show against the Foals.
While talking to the official club website after the game, the one-time Bundesliga winner further insisted:
“That can happen to anyone. He's strong enough to put it behind him. After his slip-up on the opening day, he went on to play a superb first half of the season and I'm sure he'll do the same this time too.”
Kroos operated from the left hand side on Friday, but was unable to have any impact on the game. The winger, though, expressed satisfaction at his own display, and opined that the Reds were unlucky not to have finished a single
move from the few they managed to make, especially during the first half.
“I know how to play there. You don't touch the ball as often as you do in the centre, but we did put some very good moves together and we weren't too bad. What cost us was conceding possession too easily and some poor defending,”
Kroos concluded.
As a result of Friday’s loss, Bayern have lost their lead at the top of the league standings, and find themselves level on points with second placed Borussia Dortmund and third placed Schalke.
Monchengladbach are not too far behind the league leaders as a single point separates the Foals from the top spot.
