The Bayern Munich midfielder has insisted that his side has been in great shape and is looking forward to the game against the reigning champions.
Bayern Munich have returned to form after a torrid start to the second-half of the campaign and are now in the race to win the Bundesliga title. Their fate could be decided in the next few days as they take on leaders Borussia
Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday, April 11, in a bid to finish the three point gap at the top.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Toni-Kroos-c35425 has claimed that his side has the momentum to beat the Dortmund giants in the league fixture. He admitted that it is arguably Bayern’s most crucial game of the season and is confident that his side can overpower the
reigning champions.
The midfielder added that this could be the last chance his side has and anything other than a win would certainly put an end to the title talk.
“A huge amount. There’s a lot of media hype about this game, but that's completely normal. It'll be very tense. We’re totally focused on Dortmund, and we know we absolutely can't afford to lose. You sense that everyone in the team
knows the importance of this match,” he was quoted as saying in an interview to the club’s official website.
The former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder added that Bayern have been playing some sensational football of late and the team has been in stunning form. He stressed that if the Bavarians play with the same authority and determination,
they will be very hard to beat.
“All that counts is that we're in superb shape, and we've won a lot of matches in a row. We travel to Dortmund in good form. Obviously, we're wary and we know how good they are. But we're still just a little bit better in terms
of footballing quality,” he concluded.
The all important clash between the heavyweights of German football will take place at Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday, April 11. Dortmund can seal the title if they beat Jupp Heynckes’ men on the night whereas Bayern have a chance
to go level on points with the Black Yellows.
