Tonight MHO(Obamas wife) for those of you in Rio Linda, was proud of her country for the second time?

in her life.........She has hated and despised the USA all her life.......What makes you think she is sincere now?....The fact that she may become the first lady?

To say that she hated and despised the USA her whole life - or even to say that she "didn't care for" the USA is simply an outright lie.  As for her comments before, she was obviously referring to the political process, which she was exuberant about- what other country would have slavery one century and a black presidential nominee the next?

If you look at it in context, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYY73RO_e... then her original remark is nothing more than a slightly emotional statement with a bit of hyperbole. And she said "really proud" not just "proud', though that's just a side issue. To take from it that she "hated and despised the USA" is ridiculous.

And isn't Pride the worst of the sins according to Christian teaching?
