Tonights Eastenders?

Question

Anybody else thaught tonights episode was a bit OTT for 7.30pm?

Also I cant believe that have killed Jase,he was one of my favourite characters and thaught he had a lot more to offer,obviously Eastenders writers thaught otherwise.

omg i did not see that coming at all i cried so much when jase stuck his hand out in hospital i wanted jay to grab it it was so sad now i don't want to watch dawn find out i will be so sad

yes i thought it was a little dark i liked jase also there was something mysterious about him wonder whats instore for dawn now

I must say that EastEnders is becoming a little too melodramatic for my liking. The actor who performed as Jase (Stephen Lord) decided to leave, mainly due to a real life engagement and other commitments.

But still, I'm sure most of the 'Enders audience would of much preferred the option of Jase leaving Walford for another part of the country, as he was quite clearly a fan favourite and they would have liked to have the ambiguity factor of "Will he or won't he come back", and it wouldn't even matter if he didn't!

The death and those flashes of "What could of been" were a little too much for an early evening soap opera, you're bang on!

Yeah, I was pretty disturbed by the manner of Jase's death & I was really upset that he actually died in the end. But Jay had me in tears - especially at the end when he was holding Jase's hand - poor little guy!! :*(

i actually cried because it was so sad but i was miffed when that terry guy laid down next to jase smiling after he killed him, but i was happy when the other guy said no to killing him

well i wouldnt say it was OTT for 7.30, its Eastenders.

But it was really sad, it was also kinda creepy how that man laid down next to him smiling.

I think most people knew Jase was going to die and knew it would be sad so..

I'm not watching it till 10pm on bbc3 so I'll edit later on.

I knew I'd have to get the hankies out, and I wanted dawn and jase to get married and live happy ever after. But It never does in enders does it,? nothing is ever happy. I hope Jay ends up with dawn and not taken into care.

I know it's only a soap.... but I always watch it, it's better than corrie at the moment.
