Tons are skipping first day of class, should I?

Tomorrow is the first day of school and a lot of people are skipping. I was invited to come along by some of them, should I tag along? Will I really miss anything but a few handouts? Also most of my classes are AP.

If you have to ask, you have doubts. You know what is right, why even risk it. You would probably feel guilty anyway. And also that sets a really bad first impression to your teachers. They may have it out for you after that. If you are a junior/senior and in AP, then you need to be mature enough to think about consequences of "following the crowd."

Aye go on.  What's there to loose?  You will miss out on a good time if you don't go.  Me and the lads used to skive school all the time and go and get pissed.

something will end up happening whether then the teacher doesnt like you for skipping or they hand something important out, you never know could be a quiz and i doubt most of them are skipping people always say that.

I did this in highschool. BAD idea, really. You will be lost and trying to play catch up. I wouldn't say it's a big deal to skip, just not on your 1st day man.

No way.  Your teachers will catch on and remember you as a skipper.  It's not worth it.  If you must, skip with one or two other friends later in the year and it won't be so obvious.
