Tonsillitis and kissing?

how contagious is this

so we made out, you know a little tongue or alot but nothing deeeep into my mouth

i have tonsillitis, its my replapse

and ive been on the knock off for penecillin.

and ive taken 8 pills so far

4 a day.

it started a week after i had the last outbreak

it started on sunday - the first time i had tonsillitis and went to the doctor.

i got a perscription for 800mg motrin.

and z pak

and i finished the zpak

and then i was fine and ended up getting it again like 3 days after i got it again.

but tonight before it happened

i took my pill and a 800mg motrin.

could i have given it to him?

I have tonsillitis too.  I asked my doctor about kissing and he said that if you have had at least 48 hours with the medication in your system, the chances of it spreading are lowered a considerable amount because the antibiotics are making the bacteria weak and eventually killing them.. BUT, there is still a great chance that you gave it to him.. Let him know so he can get to the doctor as soon as he gets symptoms.  good luck.
