Tonsils still swollen after 2 weeks?

2 weeks ago I had swollen tonsils, a sore throat, and various sinus problems. After a week of taking anti-biotics I'm back to normal, but my tonsils are still swollen.

Any idea as to what could be happening? I don't feel sick or anything.

not sure i would atleast call the doctor. they could still be infected

What were you diagnosed with originally?

I'd go back and see your GP because tonsils can be very touchy and sometimes never fully heal. I had Glandular Fever two years ago and my tonsils never recovered. I've been on the waiting list to get them removed for 6 months now because I was told my a specialist that antibiotics wouldn't be able to fix them.

Better to be safe than sorry with theses sorts of things so just go back and see your doctor to be sure.
