Tony Palladino to spend next two seasons with Derbyshire

Derbyshire has signed a two year contract with right-arm medium pacer Tony Palladino after he was released by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Essex-c783 at the end of the 2010 season.
"I came to Essex straight from school in London at http://www.senore.com/Cricket/A-Young-c41367 age," said the former Essex pacer. "I can leave the club saying that I loved every minute of playing and I will be sad to move on. I have really enjoyed playing with all the
lads during my time at Essex and there is a great set-up to play cricket."
The 27-year-old pacer started his first-class career with the Eagles in 2003 soon after completing his high school education. He spent eight county seasons with Essex County Cricket Club and claimed 86 first-class wickets from 38
matches. But he has been bothered by sporadic injuries and has failed to secure a regular place for himself. During the 2010 season, Palladino played only four first-class games for Essex.
"The move to Derbyshire is a fresh start for my career and I will be looking to cement more of a first team spot in the team. My opportunities in the first team at Essex were sporadic so more first team cricket is important for me,”
added the 27-year-old who feels as thugh he is in the best years of his cricket career asa bowler.
Palladino would replace http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Durham-c782 in 2004, was released in October after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent. Hunter claimed five-for twice during
his six-year long stint with Derbyshire but found himself out of the club at the end of the 2010 season. During last season, the 6 feet 2 inches tall Durham pacer played seven first class matches for Derbyshire, picking up 21 wickets at 28.23.
