Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has hailed the performance of Liverpool’s talisman Luis Suarez against his side, stating that the Uruguayan striker will much bring grace to the Barclays Premier League.
Suarez was Liverpool’s stand out performer as the Reds experienced their first defeat of the season against Stoke City at Britannia Stadium. The Uruguayan attacker again showed his class as he terrorized Stoke City’s defence line with his movement and trickery
throughout the match.
The 24-year-old kept on creating problems for the Potters’ central defenders, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryan-Shawcross-c31996 and Matthew Upson, but was extremely unlucky not to find the back of the net. Nonetheless, Tony Pulis was highly impressed by Suarez’s extraordinary performance against his team and insisted that the 24-year-old has all the attributes to become a world class player.
The Potters boss told the reporters, "I thought [Luis] Suarez up front was absolutely fantastic. He looks a real, real player. A player that will grace the Premier League. His movement and touch at times was different class."
Stoke City scored the only goal of the match when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonathan-c18993 Walters inside the eight-yard box. The Reds manager, Dalglish, expressed his discontentment over the contentious penalty decision made
against his team.
Pulis has claimed that he respects Dalglish’s opinion but has also hailed his team’s performance against the Merseyside club.
“Kenny [Dalglish] will be as biased as I am. If you're at Stoke City that will always be the case. I'll respect his opinion, whether they were [penalties] or not I don't know, but I'll have a look later on. We worked very, very hard. We stopped them from
playing," Tony Pulis concluded.
Stoke City are currently placed fourth in the Barclays Premier League and will play their next League fixture against Sunderland.
