I think he was one of the best journalists in Washington and I am very sorry he died. Like Tim Russert, he was way too young...only 53.

He was also an outstanding press secretary for George Bush, definitely an asset to the administration.

The world's lost a good man today.

  1. I'd say I know how he feels. 2 have already died of it in my family and another relives pretty close.

  2. I liked Tony a lot.  I got to see him perform with his band a few times back when he and Steven King were rocking together.  He was definitely taken too young.

  3. I agree with you - he was honest and decent to the core.

Like they say, the good die young.  He will be missed.

  4. Don't know him! And 53 isn't way to young..most people go when they are in their 60s or 70s..so 50 isn't young~ :)

  5. Too bad.  He seemed to have been respected, but for too long was just another shill for the Cheney-Rove regime.

  6. Mr Snow was one of the most respected, honest, knowledgeable,  and well liked in the business. Even liberals considered him professional, and a good friend. Brought credibility, honor, respect, honesty to the Bush White House. Was a terrific father, and wonderful family man. He will be greatly missed.

  7. When I saw the headlines, I felt like a member of my own family died.  So young.  So sad.

Fox News has not been the same since Tony Snow left ... no one can fill his shoes as press Secretary for the Whitehouse ... radio and tv audiences will miss his wit and insightful commentary.

I agree with you:  The world's lost a good man today.

  8. Seemed like a cool enough guy. (u know, for a washington tie wearing square)

    Sorry he died.

    R.I.P

  9. I'm feel bad for his family. He was extraordinarily partisan.

  10. If they know it was Colon Cancer, that would indicate he had health insurance.

  11. Politics aside, this is a tragic thing.

  12. RIP Tony, and May the lord God keep your family.

  13. Owned

  14. You are kidding.

  15. I did not know him untill today actually but I'm sorry he died so young.

  16. Looks like those compassionate liberals are answering your question.

He was genuine and did not compromise his beliefs even if they were not popular...that shows character.  I wish I could say the same about the politicians of today.  He believed deeply in what he said and lead his life with honor.

It is always a tragedy when a life is lost even if you don't believe in the same politics.

  17. Cancer Sucks

  18. That's just to show that we do not influence how or when we die....when our time is here then we go....I am sorry about that though....

  19. RIP

  20. This indeed is a very sad event. It always seems to occur to the better people. And even though I know not much of him or his works, I feel sadness for his passing. I just hope his family and people he knew can make it through this tough period and celebrate his life as much as mourning his death.
