  1. i think Marvin Hagler would win

  2. Hagler, he was one of the best and was far better than coke head sugar ray.

  3. i pick hagler to stop zale late or decision him in a reletive close bout.

hagler's movement and sharper punches make the difference.

  4. I rank Marvin Hagler as the 2nd greatest middleweight champion ever (tie with Monzon)  As far as the more modern breed of fighters, he's a throwback you might say as he was very tough, durable, strong, and of course was an excellent boxer and a very hard puncher.  Tony Zale will always be remembered for his three fierce fights with Rocky Graziano was no doubt a tough customer for anyone in the ring and came to fight every time he entered the ring.  I'm not sure where I'd rank Zale, but he was great nonetheless.  He had a really good left hook and good boxing ability.  His one weakness was he probably got hit a little too much and this would not fare well against the sharp punching Hagler.  I believe that both men would trade pretty evenly for about the first 5-6 rounds with neither giving up too much ground to the other.  I believe that in about round 7, Hagler would open up a cut under Zale's eye and would pepper it with hard jabs.  Zale's corner would do a good job of closing the cut and Zale would show the heart of a champion and fight back hard for the next two rounds.  In round 10 Hagler would open that cut back up and really pour it on,  The ringside doctor would be summoned over and advise the referee to stop the fight with Hagler the winner by technical knockout in 10 rounds of a hard fought contest.  Good question sir.
