Question:

Too Much Gardasil Vaccine?

I know a girl who had the Gardasil last year at school and then promptly forgot about it. She just recently volunteered to receive the same vaccine at a free clinic. Now we are wondering if she has something wrong or if it won't matter. So, she had three needles in the course aged 17 and now another (fourth) needle aged 19, what do you think?

  1. There are still too many unknowns about Gardasil. It was pushed through way too fast and is being pushed in the media too much. What I do know is at least 10 girls have died from it. Also it has not been proven in young girls, and they don't know what the long term effects may be. It is also suspected to cause some types of cancer. I would never get it nor would I ever allow my daughters to get it. You may not be "one less"

  2. it shouldn't be that much of a problem, she shouldn't get the other two treatments for the second vaccine though.

that was a pretty big brain f**t; if she has concerns she should go back to the clinic or go to a women's health clinic and talk to a doctor or nurse practitioner.

you'd think that they would check medical records before just giving out vaccines, that clinic doesn't sound very legit.

  3. Well, since even the first Gardisil shot can cause problems, it makes sense that the 2nd, 3rd, or the 4th, in her case, can cause problems.  I don't know if there's anything she can do about it at this point, though.  Perhaps avoiding any future vaccines, including the flu vaccine and tetanus booster, would reduce the lifetime burden on her body.
