  1. Some women get EWCM a few days before they ovulate. I do!

The answer that you ovulate 10 days after your period is not correct. How long it is after your period varies. But, yes, for most women it is 14 days before the period starts. I however have a shorter luteal phase and ovulate about 12 days before my period starts. It is usually 12-14 days. It can be as little as 10 days but if it is very short, then the woman might not be fertile.

Try not to panic. Just BD as much as you can around this time!

  2. I know I have said this before, but after the first post I feel the need to say again that ovulation does not occur the same for every woman. Your best gage is to count BACK 14 days from the day you expect your period (if you have a regular cycle) and that would be closer to guess when you would be ovulating. In that case that would put your ovulation around August 10th. Just to be sure I would go out and buy an ovulation test (a digital one so you know for sure) and start testing. The best time is around late morning to early afternoon. Other than that keep BD frequently over the next week and I hope you have luck and get your BFP.

    EDIT:

Ovulation is not ALWAYS 14 days before your period, but it is usually 10-16 days before. I know this is a wide range I just use 14 as a good average and it is what a big majority of women report. While it is not always certain it IS a better predictor than counting forward from your LMP. If you want to be for sure I would try using OPK to confirm when you think you are ovulating. I know it is hard to figure all this out especially when you are getting conflicting answers. If you are unsure of when you ovulate it is best to use all methods possible to help you detect ovulation (ie: OPK, BBT, CM and so on) I hope you can find out when you are for sure so that you can get that BFP sooner! I hope this wasn't too confusing and helps a little. Good Luck.

  3. hi. I can relate to you. my cycle are 37 days.my last period was on 18th of July.I'm on CD22 of my cycle and I'm going to ovulate tomorrow (I'm also for the fist time checking my body but with help from ovulating tests). so you see everybody is different and I hope that you haven't missed that. good luck

  4. The 14 days before your period doesn't always work. BBT or CM are better indicators. I have a short luteal phase which I only figured out because I have been charting and I also use a OPK. I was only ovulating 7 days before AF so I had to make some corrections to give time for implantation. My suggestion is to chart and do BBT at the least to get an idea of your own cycle.

  5. PLEASE will someone tell me what EWCM means, i have asked so many times and no-one will tell me

Your last period was 21st July so you would be ovulating around 31st July (its 10 days after the 1st day of your period) and your discharge is like the white of an egg

Keep baby dancing and keep putting your legs up lol, the more s*x the bigger chance of becoming pregnant

Good luck and hopefully it will happen soon
